This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Written in plain English so you don't need a lawyer to read it.

1. Who We Are

mangoDigital is a B2B SEO and organic growth agency based in New Delhi, India. We operate this website at mangodigital.co. When this policy says “we,” “us,” or “our,” we mean mangoDigital.

2. What We Collect

We collect only what we need:

• Information you give us: Email address, website URL, and any details you share via our contact form, audit tool, or in conversations with our team.
• Usage data (automatic): Pages viewed, time on site, browser type, approximate location (city-level via IP), referral source. Collected through Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
• Audit submissions: When you use our free SEO audit tool, we crawl publicly accessible pages of the URL you submit, run technical checks, and store the results temporarily.
• SEO Coach account: If you subscribe to SEO Coach, we store your email address, a securely hashed password (never in plain text), the one website you add, your subscription status, and your progress in the tool (which daily moves you complete and verify).
• Payment information: SEO Coach payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive your subscription and payment status but do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not store full card numbers or collect sensitive personal data beyond what is described above.

3. How We Use It

• To deliver the service you requested (e.g., send your audit report)
• To provide the SEO Coach subscription — verify your account, generate your daily moves, track your progress, and process billing, renewals, and cancellations
• To respond to your inquiries
• To improve our website and service quality
• To send occasional service updates or relevant insights — only if you explicitly opted in

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Ever.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

To run this site and our tools, we rely on these services. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure
• Resend — sends transactional emails (e.g., your audit report)
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymized website traffic analytics
• Microsoft Clarity — heatmaps and anonymized session recordings (used to improve UX)
• Google PageSpeed Insights API — runs page-speed checks on URLs you submit to our audit tool
• Anthropic — powers AI-generated recommendations in our audit tool and SEO Coach
• Razorpay — processes SEO Coach subscription payments; your card/bank details are handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy
• Upstash (Redis) — securely stores account, subscription, and audit data
• Sanity — content management for our blog and case studies

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (GA4, Clarity) and to remember your preferences. If you log in to SEO Coach or a client dashboard, we set an essential, HttpOnly session cookie so you stay signed in; it carries no tracking data and cannot be disabled while you use those areas. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — doing so won't break the site but may affect anonymous analytics.

Clarity session recordings do not capture: keystrokes in password fields, form input contents, or any personally identifying information you don't voluntarily submit. Mouse movements and scroll patterns are recorded to help us improve the site experience.

6. How Long We Keep Data

• Audit submissions: 90 days from submission, then automatically deleted
• Contact form / email inquiries: Up to 2 years, or until you ask us to delete
• Analytics data: Retained per Google Analytics' default settings (currently 14 months)
• SEO Coach account & progress: Kept while your account is active; deleted or anonymised on request, or within a reasonable period after you close your account — except records we must retain for tax/legal reasons
• Client engagement records: As required by Indian tax/accounting law (typically 7 years)

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of marketing communications at any time
• Withdraw consent for any optional data processing

If you're in the EU, UK, or other jurisdictions with similar laws (GDPR, etc.), the same rights apply. Indian users are covered under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS encryption across the site, secure infrastructure via Vercel, and access controls on internal data. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data with the seriousness it deserves.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses, not individuals under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

We're based in India but use services hosted globally (Vercel, Google, etc.). Your data may be processed in countries with different privacy laws than yours. We choose vendors that maintain strong data protection standards.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
