Why I started mangoDigital
I was fired from my dream company- Neil Patel Digital- and I was wondering whether I should be upset or not. For that moment, I started damage control and called my friends for freelance gigs- two of them gave me work that would cover 70% of my next salary.
Since I could relax a little bit now, I went to the gym for a great workout, and when I came back- I had a medium Farmhouse Cheeseburst Pizza from Domino’s with my favorite- Toyo Kombucha (I really wish they were paying me for this- but they aren’t). The next thing after a heavy lunch? In Bengaluru, it had to be mangoes.
And I thought — why not call it mango? I had loved mangoes since I was a little kid (if you and I sometime got on a call and you asked me to show you this picture from my childhood, I’d show you my kid version gnawing the kernel for every last fiber). So, who was to stop me? I went ahead with it. And Digital? I simply borrowed that from my favorite employer who had just fired me 4 hours ago.
